MCA Referral Partner Program
Referral partners: introduce an owner, we do the rest.
A referral partner introduces a business owner and we take it from there. You don't gather statements or present offers. We talk with the owner, read the file, shop it with funders that fit and bring back every offer. It fits accountants, bookkeepers and vendors who meet owners but don't want to run a brokerage. Referral pay is set out in a written agreement.
How does the referral program work?
| Step | You | Us |
|---|---|---|
| Introduce | Send the owner's name and consent to contact | Call the owner, usually the same business day |
| File | Nothing | Collect statements and details |
| Offers | Stay copied if the owner wants | Bring back every offer side by side |
| After funding | Nothing | Stay the owner's contact |
Who does the program fit?
- Accountants and bookkeepers who see cash-flow gaps in their clients' books.
- Equipment and software vendors whose customers need to finance a purchase.
- Business consultants and attorneys who meet owners at a turning point.
- Anyone who'd rather refer than broker. If you want to run files yourself, see becoming an MCA broker.
What does the owner get?
A free application, a real person on the phone, and every offer in writing. Applying is free, and you never pay Afterfirst a fee. The funder pays our commission only if a deal funds, and the amount is in the offer paperwork before you sign.
What should a referral include?
- Ask the owner first. We only call owners who agreed to it.
- Send the name, business and best phone number.
- Tell us anything the owner wants us to know, like an open advance.
- Let us handle the rest.
What do referral partners ask?
Will you call my client without asking?
What if the deal doesn't fund?
Do I need to register?
Can I stay involved?
Have a file one funder can't place?
Email it to us with Broker file in the subject line. Call 877-FUND-654 with any question. We call you back, usually the same business day, and we always talk with you before we shop your file.
