Same-Day Merchant Cash Advance

A same-day merchant cash advance is approved, signed and sent to your bank on the same business day. That happens when your file is complete in the morning, you sign quickly, and the funder's checks clear before its bank's wire cut-off.

Who a same-day advance fits

It fits a business with steady deposits and a bill with a clock on it: payroll on Friday, a truck in the shop, a supplier who wants paying before it ships.

  • Deposits come in every week, from cards, checks or transfers, and your statements show it.
  • You have no open advances, or you can name the one you have with its balance and payment.
  • Your statements are PDFs from your bank, not screenshots.
  • You can take the funder's verification call when it comes.

It's a harder fit if the business is brand new, if deposits swing hard week to week, or if two or three advances are already open. Those files still get offers. They take longer, because funders ask more questions. Call and we'll tell you straight which side of the line you're on.

How a fast file moves with Afterfirst

We're a nationwide broker headquartered in Los Angeles. Funders make the offers; we find the ones that fit your file and walk you through each one.

  1. Call 877-FUND-654 early in the day, or send the form at afterfirstmca.com/apply. Tell us the amount, what it's for and when you need it.
  2. A real person reads your file and calls you back, usually the same business day. We ask about open advances up front, so nothing surprises a funder later.
  3. We send your file only to funders that fit your industry and size and that move quickly. Nobody else sees it.
  4. Offers come back and we lay them side by side: amount, total payback, payment and term.
  5. You pick one and sign. The funder verifies your bank account and calls you.
  6. The funder sends the money. A wire sent before your bank's cut-off lands that day; a standard ACH takes longer.

What slows a same-day file

The funder's decision is rarely the slow part. These are, and each one has a fix you can make before you call.

More on timing, step by step: how long MCA funding takes.

What it costs, in plain words

A same-day advance is priced like any merchant cash advance. The funder quotes a factor rate. Multiply the amount you receive by the factor rate and you get the total payback, the full amount you'll repay. You repay it through a set daily or weekly debit, or a holdback, which is a fixed share of your card sales.

Speed isn't a price category. What moves the price is how your deposits read, how long you've been open and what you already owe. Ask whether an offer carries any fee on top of the factor rate, such as an origination or wire fee, and compare total payback, not only the payment.

Applying is free, and you never pay Afterfirst a fee. The funder pays our commission only if a deal funds, and the amount is in the offer paperwork before you sign. Check any offer with the factor rate calculator or our guide on how to read an MCA offer.

Documents you'll need

  • Business bank statements for the last few full months, as PDFs from your bank, plus this month so far.
  • The funder name, balance and payment for every advance or loan you're paying now.
  • A voided check or bank letter for the account the funder will pay into.
  • Your driver's license and the business's tax ID.

The documents guide shows what funders read on each statement.

Same-day advance questions

Can a merchant cash advance really fund the same day?

Yes, when everything lines up. Your file needs to be complete early, the offer signed quickly, and the funder's bank check and verification call done before its wire cut-off. Miss one of those and the money lands the next business day instead. On the first call, we tell you how your file looks for timing.

Does a same-day advance cost more?

Not because of the speed. Funders price the file: your deposits, your time in business and any open advances. A fast file is usually a clean file, and clean files tend to get better terms. Ask about any fee on top of the factor rate, and compare offers by total payback. Applying with us is free either way.

What time of day should I call?

As early as you can, on a weekday. Funders review files during business hours, and wires stop at the bank's cut-off. Calling in the morning with your statements ready gives everyone the most room. A file that comes in late in the afternoon, or on a Friday, usually funds the next business day.

Can I get a same-day advance with bad credit?

Bad credit doesn't rule it out. Funders read your bank deposits first, and many weigh your score less than a bank does. Each funder checks credit its own way, so ask us how the funders we'd send your file to handle it before you agree to anything. Strong, steady deposits carry the most weight.

Who pays Afterfirst?

The funder does, never you. Applying is free, and you never pay us a fee. The funder pays our commission only when your deal funds, and the amount is written into the offer paperwork before you sign. If you turn down every offer, nobody owes anybody anything.
