MCA Early Payoff Calculator

Enter your advance, the total payback and what you've paid so far to see the balance, the unpaid part of the fee and what an early payoff discount would save. If the funder gave you a payoff quote, enter it to see what it really waives. Without a discount, paying early saves nothing.

How the math works

The balance is the total payback minus what you've paid. The fee is the total payback minus the advance. To estimate how much of the fee is still unpaid, the tool spreads it evenly across the payback: unpaid fee equals the fee times the balance divided by the total payback. A waiver percentage takes that share off the balance. A quote is compared with the full balance and the unpaid fee.

Inputs and results

Balance left

What the contract says you still owe.

Unpaid fee

The part of the fee that a discount could waive, spread evenly.

Estimated payoff

Balance minus the waiver you entered.

Total cost now vs later

What the advance costs if you pay off now, against letting it run.

Quote check

What share of the unpaid fee the funder's quote gives back.

A worked example

$50,000 advanced, $70,000 payback, $35,000 paid. Balance $35,000. Fee $20,000, of which $10,000 is unpaid if spread evenly. A 50% waiver means a $30,000 payoff and a $15,000 total cost instead of $20,000. See paying off an MCA early.

When to use it

  • You got a payoff letter and want to know whether the discount is real.
  • You're weighing a renewal or consolidation that would pay this advance off.
  • Sales are strong and you have extra cash.
  • You're deciding between paying off early and putting the money back into the business.

If the contract has no discount, paying early only moves the same cost sooner. Ask the funder for its early payoff terms in writing first.
